Stainless steel storage tank pasture fresh milk rapid cooling system

In the dairy industry, stainless steel storage tanks have become a core equipment for ensuring milk quality due to their excellent hygiene, durability, and temperature control capabilities. The critical role of stainless steel storage tanks in ranching and processing plants.

The average daily milk production of large ranches is 50 tons, and the temperature of the milk is about 35 °C.

It adopts SUS304 stainless steel vertical refrigeration tank with a capacity of 5000 liters, equipped with an American Copeland scroll compressor and a dual-zone evaporative plate refrigeration system. The tank body is made of 2.5 mm thick 304 stainless steel inner tank, which is treated with laser welding process, and the inner wall is smooth and has no dead ends to avoid bacterial growth. The insulation layer is made of 80mm polyurethane foam, which is closely integrated with the tank wall through a pressure injection process to ensure that the temperature fluctuation does not exceed 1.5°C within 24 hours.

Implementation effect:

Fast cooling: It only takes 2 hours and 15 minutes for fresh milk to drop from 35°C to 4°C, which is 45 minutes shorter than the international standard, and can process two more batches of milk per day.

Constant temperature storage: In the case of power failure, the temperature inside the tank only rises by 1.2°C within 12 hours, which is far below the 2°C fluctuation threshold required by the industry.

Hygiene guarantee: The CIP cleaning system achieves 360° cleaning without dead ends by rotating the spray ball, and the arc design of the inner tank (minimum radius of 25 mm) ensures thorough water flushing and reduces microbial residues to less than 0.1 CFU/mL.
